Japanese Singles

Here is everything we know about the Quo vinyl singles released in Japan. All of the singles come with a picture cover packaged in cellophane wrapping with the disc in a company inner sleeve. For the early releases, there is often a lyric sheet enclosed (they are printed on the inside of the gatefold picture covers). By the time we get to the 70's Vertigo releases, the lyrics are on the rear side of the single picture cover sheet. There are also promo versions available for most releases. These can be identified by additional text on the labels in a rectangular box. Here is an example from "Down Down":-

It is fair to say that the authors collections of Japanese singles are less than substantial. We are therefore especially grateful to Damien McKay, Tony Jones and Peter Martin for the images they have provided to help this section.
